In memory of my beautiful Mom who passed away in December 2005 from lung cancer (not related to her breast cancer diagnosis). We miss you and will continue this fight with your determination and strength.
In 2004, Mom found a small lump during her standard breast self-exam. It didn't stand out; it was hardly noticeable along the left side of her rib cage. After seeing several doctors, and participating in a fairly uncomfortable mammogram, it was time to have a surgeon check it out. One needle biopsy, surgery, and 33 days of radiation treatment later, she WON her battle! Yes!
At the age of 72, my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the age of 72, my Mom fought breast cancer and was a Survivor!
CL and I are truly honored to volunteer with The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In donating our time and resources, we have met some fabulous people - Survivors, Co-Survivors, families, friends, and other fellow volunteers - all of whom pour their hearts into this special cause. We're PROUD to wear PINK, and ask you to check out this wonderful organization. We hope to continue spreading awareness and to do what we can to eradicate this terrible disease. Thank You for visiting!
Wishing you a HEALTHY day!
